what does this say about me?

I have kept my clothes in colour order for as long as I can remember. And, since getting married, I have Hubby's clothes to organise too! Although, I keep his clothes to the right - intermixing of his clothes with mine is not allowed under any circumstances. Those are the rules.

My jewellery! I really do think that this is the best way to store jewellery: otherwise, everything gets tangled. I used two ordinary cork boards and painted them white. Then, just pinned it all on. I put these up yesterday as we are on a major tidy-up project. We still have boxes to unpack since moving in three months ago. Come to think of it, we still have boxes of stuff at my in-laws' house. Those things will have to wait until we've got room for them. Also, my parents are coming to visit this week, so we need to clear a space for them to actually sleep!

Above: my favourite necklace. This was made by a friend of mine in Wales who doesn't have an up-and-running website OR blog yet. We'll soon sort that out. And below: my favourite pair of earrings. These are also from Wales: I got them from a stall in Cardiff. I prefer fun costume jewellery to posh diamonds any day!

wrecking my journal ... part 14

Here we go again...

A place for your grocery lists.

Hide a secret message somewhere in the book.

Cover this page using only office supplies.

Glue random items here. (i.e., things you find in your couch, on the street, etc.)

This page was so much fun.

On this page (above), I drew a treasure map. I used to draw them all the time as a child. Looking back at them, I loved how everything would be completely out of proportion (a house the same size as a tree, etc). So here's that page. I encourage doodling! Forget about trying to make it look good, just draw the way you did as a child - when it was just for fun. Ahh those were the days, eh?

Can you see our christmas tree?

What a long post! This is the penultimate 'Wreck This Journal' post. That's right, folks! I'm almost done! Give me a couple of days and I'll post the final pictures. What a lot of fun I have had! I was so excited to hear that I have inspired some of you (Sian, Jessica and Patois) to buy a journal. I'm looking forward to seeing how yours turn out!

wrecking my journal ... part 12

Jessica suggested a group where all of us participating in Wreck This Journal should share our pages - already done! Check out the Flickr group. I haven't uploaded my pics yet, but I do plan to.  I love Flickr. I could spend hours looking at people's pics there...

wrecking my journal ... part 11

Yuk!

A bit of a vague instruction, so I didn't think about it too much, just did it!

Not my best rubbings! That's what I love about this book though, it's one big unblocking exercise and it's not about doing things perfectly - it's about deliberately NOT doing things perfectly! And that's what I need right now.
